About the directional review column

The column below is not a finding that interference occurred, and it does not prove that any candidate actually received extra votes. It is a rough advisory screen from the loaded review indicators. For down-ballot comparison flags, the app compares same-party presidential votes against a comparison race such as U.S. Senate or Governor, then labels the direction with the larger relative gap. Governor-only comparisons are marked low confidence because they can mostly reflect ordinary race-specific ticket splitting. When the comparison is U.S. House, the column names presidential-over-House dropoff direction instead of candidate benefit because House races are district- and candidate-specific controls.

That direction can be affected by split-ticket voting, incumbency, local candidate strength, undervotes, uncontested races, one-sided comparison races, reporting-unit definitions, missing comparison rows, or ordinary political geography. Treat it as "if this pattern needs review, this is the side the math points toward," not as a causal claim or a conclusion.

  • EAC fallback turnout rowsNational EAC fallback turnout rows. The statewide ballots-cast and registered-voter totals match the Alaska Division of Elections summary report Times Cast row, but no lower-grain state-native turnout denominator package is loaded.eacTurnoutCsv
  • Official 2024 General ENR precinct summary CSVOfficial machine-readable ENR precinct/reporting-unit CSV. It reconciles exactly to the certified statewide presidential totals and exposes same-grain U.S. Representative named-candidate first-choice rows; U.S. House write-in rows are not itemized, leaving a 750-vote statewide write-in gap versus the summary PDF.scripts/normalize-ak-enr-by-precinct.mjs
  • Official 2024 General Election Summary Report PDFOfficial statewide federal contest and turnout summary source retained as the source artifact for the normalized AK statewide CSVs.scripts/normalize-ak-election-summary.mjs
  • Official ENR turnout field semantics reconciliationDe-duplicated ENR Reg_voters and total_ballots fields reconcile to statewide summary/EAC totals, but Wave 2 verification keeps them as a documented state-native lead rather than active turnout because 120 district absentee/early/question reporting units carry 165,047 ballots with zero registered voters.scripts/report-ak-enr-turnout-semantics.mjs
  • Official precinct/reporting-unit President and U.S. Representative first-choice review rowsOfficial same-grain review rows for 523 precinct/reporting units. Presidential candidate totals reconcile exactly to the summary PDF. U.S. House DEM and REP named-candidate totals reconcile exactly; comparison_other includes Howe only because the ENR precinct CSV does not itemize the 750 statewide U.S. House write-in votes.localComparisonCsv generated by scripts/normalize-ak-enr-by-precinct.mjs

It documents remaining write-in allocation, geometry/crosswalk, ENR turnout semantics, historical baseline, CVR, audit, recount, incident, correction, and litigation asks without replacing loaded totals.coverageInventoryJson
  • Official statewide U.S. Representative first-choice comparison rowsOfficial statewide U.S. Representative first-choice totals grouped by major-party comparison buckets, including statewide write-ins. • Official statewide presidential resultsOfficial statewide President row generated from the summary report. Lower-grain President rows are now retained separately in the official ENR precinct review artifact, but the certified result/map row remains statewide.countyPresidentCsv
