AP announces U.S. network election-results customers
ABC, CBS, CNN and NBC were announced as election-results customers for 2026 and beyond, alongside longstanding customer Fox News.
- Announced
- Brief reviewed
AP's October 15, 2025 announcement names ABC News, CBS News, CNN and NBC News as election-results customers beginning in 2026, joining Fox News.
The announcement says the networks retain independent race calls. Sharing a results provider is a documented customer relationship, not evidence that their editorial decisions are jointly controlled.
